For the short term prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hayfever).

Active Ingredient: budesonide 64mcg per spray; 120 sprays per pack.

Classification: Pharmacy Only Medicine.

Purpose/Usage: For the short term prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hayfever).

Dosage: Adults and children over 12 years: Initially One or Two sprays into each nostril twice a day, then after 2 to 3 days, One spray into each nostril twice a day.

Warnings: Do not use budesonide aqueous if you have a severe nasal or sinus infection, have re-occurring nasal bleeding or haemorrhagic diathesis. Do not use budesonide aqueous for children under 12 years of age, without first consulting with your doctor. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other corticosteroid medication, consult with your doctor before using budesonide aqueous. If you have recently had an injury or surgery to your nose, or problems with ulceration in your nose, consult with your doctor before using budesonide aqueous. If you experience acute eye pain or visual disturbance, consult with your doctor. If you develop signs or symptoms of infection such as fever, nasal or facial pain or swelling, discoloured or purulent (pus containing) nasal discharge or bleeding from the nose, consult your doctor. Do not exceed the stated number of sprays each day. If your hayfever symptoms have not improved within 7 days of using budesonide aqueous, consult with your doctor. Do not use budesonide aqueous for more than 6 months except on medical advice. Do not use budesonide aqueous if you have an allergy to Budesonide. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
