Remifemin - a herbal supplement to reduce menopause symptoms
Remifemin is an herbal supplement that has been shown to safely reduce menopausal symptoms including: hot flashes, night sweats, irritability, mood swings, related occasional sleeplessness.
Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains: Standardised extract of cimicifuga racemosa equivalent to 0.018 - 0.026 ml liquid extract of cimicifuga rootstock (0.78-1.14:1).

Purpose/Usage: The active ingredient in Remifemin Menopause is an extract from the root and rhizome (or underground stem) of black cohosh - native North American plant (Cimicifuga racemosa). Known by many other names - snake root, bugbane, black snake root, and rattleweed—the herb black cohosh was traditionally used by Native Americans to treat gynecologic symptoms. Europeans have used black cohosh since the 19th century. Historically, the use of black cohosh was based on observations that it successfully relieved menstrual symptoms and the discomforts associated with menopause. Today, after 40 years of research, women can rely on the standardized extract (uniform dose) of black cohosh in Remifemin Menopause to treat their menopausal symptoms, with the assurance that modern, scientific methods have demonstrated its safety, consistency, purity, and its effectiveness, with minimal side effects.
Dosage: Adults take 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening.
Warnings: When used properly following the package directions, Remifemin Menopause has few side effects, if any. In clinical research, there were a small percentage of gastric discomfort complaints. Itching and rash can occur in those allergic to black cohosh or any other ingredients. If you have been taking Remifemin Menopause and find that this or any other condition develops and persists, please discontinue use and see your physician. Very rarely, liver disease in women taking Cimicifuga racemosa (black cohosh) has been reported. However, it is not known whether cimicituga racemosa (black cohosh) was responsible. If you develop jaundice, or aches and pains when using Remifemin, stop use and see your doctor. Women with a history of liver disease should only take Remifemin after consulting their doctor.
