Nicorette 4mg Gum (mint) 210 gum pieces (2 packs of 105)
Mint flavored nicotine gum to reduce nicotine withdrawal effects
Nicorette gum helps smokers give up smoking by reducing the unpleasant nicotine withdrawal effects that are normally experienced when stopping smoking. Sugar-free.
Active Ingredient: nicotine 4mg per piece.
Classification: General Sale.
Purpose/Usage: Nicorette gum helps smokers give up smoking by reducing the unpleasant nicotine withdrawal effects that are normally experienced when stopping smoking. Nicorette gum does not give you as much satisfaction as a cigarette, and therefore, once you have overcome the smoking habit, it is usually not difficult to give up Nicorette. Your own willpower will determine your success, but Nicorette can be a useful help. Nicorette Gum gives you active control over your cravings with a flexible dosing system.
Dosage: Nicorette Gum is available in 2mg and 4mg strengths. The strength you choose depends on your own individual needs, however it is recommended that you begin treatment with the 2mg strength. If you find you require more than 15 pieces of 2mg each day, you may wish to try the 4mg. Adult daily dose: 8 - 12 pieces. Maximum daily dose: 15 x 4mg pieces.
Directions: Chew gum slowly until the taste becomes strong. Rest gum between gum and cheek. Chew gum again when taste has faded. When you have completely overcome your desire for smoking, gradually reduce the number of pieces chewed each day. Do not attempt to stop using Nicorette completely until you are satisfied with only one or two pieces a day. It is recommended that Nicorette be used for three months before this gradual reduction is started. It is during the first three months that the risk of failure is greatest. Remember to carry some Nicorette with you after you have stopped smoking in case you feel a sudden urge to smoke again.
Warnings: Not suitable for children. Do not use if: * You are pregnant or intend to become pregnant. * You are breast feeding. * You have had a recent heart attack or stroke. * You have heart disease or palpitations or angina. * You are a non-smoker. * You are under 18 years old. * You are allergic to nicotine or the components of the chewing gum. All forms of nicotine should be avoided during pregnancy. Smokers who wear dentures may find it difficult to chew Nicorette. Patients with gastritis, peptic ulcer, angina or who have had coronary heart disease should discuss the use of Nicorette with their physician. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25°C.
