Fast, effective relief from heartburn and indigestion due to gastric reflux.

Active Ingredient: 500mg Alginic Acid, 170mg Sodium Bicarbonate, 100mg Aluminum Hydroxide Gel, 25mg Magnesium Trisilicate. Gluten-free.

Purpose/Usage: Helps relieve the burning pain of heartburn and the discomfort of indigestion. Helps protect inflamed oesophageal tissue and helps prevent further inflammation. Gaviscon forms a barrier to reflux through the alginate "raft" which helps keep stomach contents contained in the stomach thereby reducing the risk of them irritating the delicate lining of the oesophagus.

Dosage: Adults: 1 to 2 tablets and Children 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet. Taken after meals and a half hour before bed at night, up to four times a day. Tablets should be thoroughly chewed and swallowed when they become sticky. This may be followed by a drink of water. The recommendation is that you do not lie down or go to bed immediately after taking the tablets.

Warnings: Do not use in situations where excessive water loss may occur (vomiting or diarrhoea). Use with caution in liver, heart or kidney failure. If symptoms persist, see your doctor, children under 6 should be given Gaviscon only on a doctor's advise. Please read the enclosed leaflet.
