Nicotine replacement therapy to address the physical and habitual dependency associated with smoking

Nicorette Inhaler is a form of nicotine replacement therapy that directly addresses the physical (nicotine) as well as behavioral (hand-to-mouth activity) dependency associated with smoking.

Active Ingredient: Each inhaler unit contains 10mg nicotine (nicotine-impregnated cartridge flavoured with menthol).

Purpose/Usage: Nicorette Inhaler helps is used to relieve withdrawal symptoms when you stop smoking and helps prevent smoking relapse. It controls your cravings and keeps you familiar with the hand to mouth ritual associated with smoking. The inhaler consists of a mouth piece and a nicotine impregnated cartridge. It is designed for you to puff on, the same way as you would a cigarette. The device not only delivers nicotine to your blood to relieve your cravings but also like a cigarette, offers regular hand to mouth activity so you are less likely to miss the action of smoking. You can use the inhaler when and where you need to, using either shallow or deep draws. Both provide a similar intake of nicotine to the mouth and back of the throat. .

Directions: The dose of nicotine from a puff of the Inhaler is much less than that of one puff of a cigarette. Each Inhaler unit is 10mg nicotine and lasts approximately 20 minutes when used intensely with deep inhalations. You should use the Nicorette inhalator intensively for 5 minutes, four times. The dosage is individual and depends on how much nicotine you need to reduce the withdrawal symptoms. You should use 6 to 12 Nicorette inhalers per day. The normal treatment period is 3 months, after which you should gradually reduce the dose up to a maximum of 6 months.

Warnings: The Inhaler should not be used if you have a hypersensitivity to nicotine or menthol. This product should not be used during pregnancy. Do not use whilst breastfeeding without consulting your physician. You should stop smoking whilst using this product. Consult your physician if you have severe cardiovascular disease, gastric ulcer, chronic throat disease or asthma. People under 18 should not use this product without consulting their physician.
