Clarinex non-sedating antihistamine tablets
Non-sedating antihistamine tablets for seasonal allergies (hayfever).
Active Ingredient: desloratadine 5mg.
Classification: Pharmacy Only Medicine.
Purpose/Usage: Clarinex (Claramax) is indicated for the 24 hour relief from the symptoms of hayfever and seasonal allergic rhinitis without causing drowsiness. One tablet provides relief from:
* Sneezing.
* Runny and itchy nose.
* Congestion and stuffiness.
* Watery, itchy eyes.
* Itching of palate.
* Coughing.
Purpose/Usage: Adults and children over 12 years: One tablet daily for 24 hour relief.
Warnings: Efficacy and safety in children under 2 years of age have not been established. Although Clarinex (Claramax) is unlikely to affect the ability to drive or operate machinery, a few people may be affected and care should be taken. Use in Pregnancy: The safe use of Clarinex (Claramax) during pregnancy has not been established. Therefore, it is not to be used during pregnancy unless clearly indicated. Use in Lactation: desloratadine passes into breast milk. Hence, the use of Clarinex (Claramax) by breastfeeding mothers is not recommended. Clarinex (Claramax) should not be given to children under 12 years of age. Please read the enclosed leaflet.
