Lomide Eye Drops for hayfever symptoms

Alomide (Lomide) eye drops contain an anti-allergy agent which stops hayfever symptoms. They can be used for long-term management of allergy eyes, as well as for preventing symptoms before they start.

Active Ingredient: lodoxamide 0.1%.

Purpose/Usage: Anti-allergy eye drops for non-infectious conjunctivitis. Alomide (Lomide) eye drops contain an anti-allergy agent which blocks the total allergic response and stops symptoms from recurring. They can be used for long-term management of allergy eyes, as well as for preventing symptoms before they start. The time taken for people's eyes to respond to treatment with Alomide (Lomide) Eye Drops may vary. Usually a response will be seen within a few days of using Alomide (Lomide) Eye Drops. Some people will have to use Alomide (Lomide) Eye Drops for a longer period before a response is seen.

Dosage: For adults and children, shake the bottle well and instill 1 drop into the eye(s) four times daily. Space your doses of Alomide (Lomide) Eye Drops evenly throughout the day.

Directions: Dosing with Alomide (Lomide) should commence before known allergy season starts. Do not stop using Alomide (Lomide) Eye Drops as soon as your eye(s) begin to feel better. If the pollen or other foreign substance that caused the allergic reaction in your eye(s) is still present in the air you will experience a similar reaction when you stop using the eye drops. It is important that you discuss this with your doctor or pharmacist before you stop using Alomide (Lomide) Eye Drops. If you regularly wear soft contact lenses your doctor or pharmacist may advise you to stop wearing them while you are using Alomide (Lomide) Eye Drops. Do not wear soft contact lenses when you put Alomide (Lomide) Eye Drops into your eyes. You can put your contact lenses back into your eyes approximately 15 minutes after having used Alomide (Lomide) Eye Drops.

Warnings: Suitable for use in adults and children over 4 years of age. If symptoms persist or increase, seek medical advice. Discard contents 4 weeks after opening. Please read the enclosed leaflet.
