Viratac - a highly effective cream for the treatment of cold sores (generic Zovirax)
Cream for the treatment of cold sores (herpes simplex).
Active Ingredient: Acyclovir 5%.
Classification: General Sale.
Purpose/Usage: Viratac can prevent a cold sore developing. If a blister develops, Viratac can speed the healing process.
Dosage: Apply FIVE times daily during waking hours for FIVE days. Apply acyclovir cream as soon as you feel a cold sore starting.
Directions: Do not allow others to touch your cold sore or share your towel as Cold sores are infectious. Wash hands before and after touching cold sores and avoid kissing. Use early and you may prevent your cold sore developing. Often you will feel a tingling, itching, burning sensation where the cold sore is developing. Use Viratac at the tingle stage to prevent development. Keep a tube with you so you can start treatment as soon as the next cold sore begins. See a Doctor if the cold sore is no better after 10 days.
Warnings: Do not use on mucous membranes - eyes, mouth or vagina. Genital herpes requires urgent medical attention. Please read the enclosed leaflet.
